In a global marketplace, campaigns created in the home country often must be translated for other countries with differing languages and dialects. This poses several potential problems for the marketing manager:

Retaining the essence of a creative message when it is translated to another language. A literal translation isn't enough.
Keeping up with local regulations for privacy and other factors as they relate to email and direct mail advertising.
Avoiding technical problems when using non-roman characters in electronic media.

Beasley Direct has been doing international marketing for more than 16 years, translating direct mail, email and web pages into German, Portuguese, Italian, French, Korean, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.

We can translate and transmit email campaigns in any language, paying special attention to how special characters might appear when transmitted in the subject line. And our in-country translators can capture both technical details and cultural nuances so the power of your marketing message comes through intact.

We also specialize in working with double-byte character sets and in setting up landing pages that can capture lead data in Latin or double-byte character sets (or both at the same time!), so that the web user can fill them out in whatever language they're comfortable with.

We're also fully conversant with international postal regulations and laws that restrict email transmission, such as Article 13 in the European Union (equivalent to the CAN-SPAM law in the USA), or rules for sweepstakes promotions which can differ from country to country.
